Read Ford Hilton's story of this beautiful 7119H...
"We returned to New England after 5 years in a motor home touring Canada
and the States, and 5 years of living in western NC. We bought this
place 1 1/2 years ago (Feb 98), an acre and a half, with a 30' X 60'
garden. Right away I knew we would need a tractor with equipment.
In my "previous life", I always had a Farmall Cub (Dad had
bought new). That, the Troy-Bilt, and many other possessions had been
disposed of prior to the "RV Full-Time Days". A search of the
local classified brochure at the convenience store lead me to this Simplicity.
T he original owner (a high school industrial arts teacher) had bought it new
and babied it. They were "moving down", as part of retirement,
to a smaller home, thus the sale. At the time, all I knew of Simplicity
was that it "made sense". Simple, easy to work on, tough, AND,
after 15 + years, they were still making the same machine. Since owning
it (a year and a half, now), it has tilled, mowed, and been generally useful
around here. The snowblower is untried as of yet, as last winter was a
"no snow" here in RI. All the manuals came with it, and it was
clear to see that not only had it been kept inside all it's life, it was well
maintained. This Club came along at just the right time".
