Is this a 728 a 738 or what?  Read Bob Tiarks' story below.

My souped up Broadmoor -- now 12 HP -- note the bug lights.  I still have the original hood and grille, but I needed 12 HP for the snowblower.   The mower deck is used to keep tractor from rearing up when using the tiller.  I think this is 1975 vintage.  Even though this is gear shift, it is still the best of the compact garden tractors.  The engine came from a Murray mower that I bought for $60 -- tractor was bought for $225 at auction -- total investment is $500.  Cheap!

Bob, I understand that when you souped it up, you added 50% more horsepower -- but is it really fast enough to need a windshield?  Is that for bugs in the summer or snow in the winter?   Kent
