Shane provides this recent update -- we saw this tractor at the Brooklyn CT club get-together...

My name is Shane Johnson and I just got back from the tractor pull and I came in 1st place with my 1967 Simplicity 2110. With no weights at all I pulled 1100lb, the 2nd place tractor pulled 900lb. After that I pulled for fun because I was using some weights, with front and rear counter weights I pulled 1200lb, and with front and rear counter weights and wheel weights with add up to 200lb all together I pulled 1550lb. also I was pulling on a wet and muddy concrete pad. The tractors that I was pulling against are 1969 John Deere with an 8 horse 800lb, an brand new John Deere with an 18 horse V-Twin 900lb, a 1974 Cub Cadet with a 12 horse and this came in 2nd 1000lb and it had wheel weights, and then my other 1987 Simplicity 4211 900lb
