This 7116 Sovereign was purchased new in 1983 by my dad.
In 1991, he gave it to me and I have used it since then. I rebuilt the 16
hp Briggs in 1991 which included a .010 bore job, .010 turn on the crank and
added electronic ignition. All tires are still original and only the paint
job is not original. The deck is original and painted black to break the
'too much orange' look. For about 8 yrs, this tractor mowed about 2 acres
of land weekly for my dad. Today, it mows 3/4 acre weekly and works in my
small garden. Still going strong!!
