36" ROTARY MOWER
ASSEMBLY
Attach the left and right hand Rocker Arms to the Bail Assembly Arms using the (2)two 3/8" capscrews (I I/4" long),
the (2)two flat washers (1" O.D.) and the (2)two locknuts provided (Figure "H").
Next attach the Deflector (Figure ') to the left hand side of the mower housing using the hardware provided.

ATTACHING THE MOWER TO THE TRACTOR
Park the tractor on level ground. Turn the front wheels all the way to the left to give clear access to the tractor underside. Slide the mower underneath the tractor from the right side, then straighten the front wheels.

Attach the Mower Rocker Arms to the tractor Front Hitch using the two IV2" long Round Head Pins and two Quick Pins (Figures "H" and
"I").
DISENGAGE the (Power Takeoff/ P.T.O. Control Lever by pushing the P.T.O. Lever all the way forward. Place the Mower Drive Belt around the Engine Drive Pulley and then over the P.T.O. Pulleys at the front end of the tractor.
NOTE: Make sure that the belt is positioned inside of guides just ahead of engine pulley (Figure
"J"). Put the free end of the Mower Drive Belt back and over the Mower Drive Pulley.
Engage the P.T.O. Lever (pull lever back} to put tension on the belt. Swing the two Belt Guides forward (toward the front of the
mower) and adjust them to within 1/8" of the belt.
Pull the Lift Lever back. Using a 1'' long capscrew, flat washer, lockwasher and nut provided, connect the lift chain to the Mower Lift Bar (Figures "H" and
"I").
