  • Condition at Time of Purchase Decent original tractor that had yrs of dirt accumulated from sitting in a barn, hydrolift, original tires all around, variable speed (waaaay out if adjustment) won't pull itself up a hill & freewheels down, float in carb stuck & leaks when engine not running, seat needs recover, orig can Nelson muffler mounted on galvanized pipe stack, starts easily & runs smooth, burns a little oil, orig throttle cable replaced w/lawn mower lever mounted on side of dash tower but its functional. Overall it's a nice original 3012 worthy of refurbishing.
  • Condition Now Removed that crazy looking stack and reinstalled the OEM Nelson Muffler, reupholstered the original seat, adjusted variable speed unit several times and we're getting it closer but the brake isn't fined tuned, cleaned out the mouse nest, installed correct rubber/brass bushing for the dash/steering rod, replaced the frayed and worn starter/generator belt with correct Simplicity belt. Its my go-to user because it starts so easily and has the utility carryall installed most of the time. Installed a throttle lever off AC 710 and new universal cable to replace the old lawn mower throttle.
