Strange Noise on the 2010...

ANYONES TWO CENTS PLEASE: I that when I pull out the clutch to move the 2010 that I am getting a sort of "clattering" noise that sounds like sheet metal. I can hear it coming from under the seat. I checked the pulleys and belts and all seems ok. Any ideas?

What about loose sheet metal bolts. My 3112's hood bolts kept loosening and giving off starnge noises similar to yours. I fixed that by putting rubber washers in the thumbscrews.

Tom, The output pulley to the trans on the bgb should have a three piece pulley on it which should also have nylon bushings in it.If the nylon is mia then they will need to be replaced. My 9hp landlord has the nylon bushings and it still makes noises when clutching so I've kinda just accept the noise and keep right on going. Btw nice job on the repaint.:) I was trying to upload a section of the manual here but no luck at the moment maybe later.

Seems to me I had a similar problem with a pully cover. One of the bolts had backed out and left it vibrating. Steve
