Well I went to a garage sale this morning to check out what was supposed to be a Simplicity Rider Turned out to be a Sears Suburban and Found this it's a Robbie Rake... Anyone Ever seen one of these.????? [img]http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/uploaded/Bunky/MVC-002S.JPG[/img]

Bunky, What is it exactly? It appears to be some sort of york rake. Could you let us know what it is used for. thanks........

Well The people I bought it from Said it was a york rake they used it to smooth out their yard after they had there house built....

Nice find. That looks like a good tool for final seedbed prep prior to sowing a lawn...

Can't tell from the picture how stiff the fingers are on that thing, but it looks like it may serve you as a decent dethatcher as well. DaveM

Could you post a pic of the under side of it. It looks like their are 2 rows of teath. Is that right?

Those tines don't look heavy enough to be used like a York rake. The tines on mine are about 1/4" thick and 1" wide.
