Termite Deck

Have a 738 tractor with a 36 inch deck, Can you still get these and if so how much do they run? Or can you bondo old deck? thanks Dan

Dan, If you have enough solid metal left you might be able to have a welder weld some patches in (after cutting rotten metal out) and/or scab some patches on top of the bad areas. I had this done to my B-1 mower deck some years ago. It has worked fine for a long time. Roy

I had a kind neighbor weld the holes up in mine, using a wire-feed welder. Then we ground them down, coated all other rusty areas with what used to be called Extend (now a Rustoleum product that I can't remember the name of) primed it, and painted it with Rustoleum paint. You can probably find a used deck affordably, comparable in price to a new deck "skin", or a whole used tractor like the one below.
