BillT
The lift rod is 19" center to center. The legs are 3/4" in length, and are 180 degrees from each other. Total offset is 1 1/2", 5" in from one end, 8" from the other. This is 1/2" round stock. Enjoy!
TomF
I have a 42" snow plow/grader blade for an Allis B-10. I'm trying to make a lift rod for this unit. This will be a Christmas gift for my 11-year-old son. This part is shown on page H-2 in the Service Manual for B-series garden tractors and attachments. I need several measurements off of your existing lift rod, if you own one. 1) Overall length 2) Location of offset bends in the rod 3) Amount of side-side offset from front to rear 4) Length of 90-degree "L" legs at each end of the rod Even approximate dimensions are wanted. Thanks so much for your help!
Mike
Bill , any idea what those dimensions would be on an Allis 916 and the same snow / dozer blade.
tej
Mike, When I needed to make a lift rod I parked the tractor on my driveway with the blade on it and the lift arm all the way forward. Measured center to center on the holes and added about 2" for applying down force on the blade. The blade moves through it's max range of travel with this lift rod.
