Early B-10 Spray Paint (Again)

Recommended Posts

Barzini
Hello Group, Can someone tell me which commercially available spray paint is the closest match to any Early B-10 The paint should have an orange tint to it, I can't seem to find the last paint recommended on this forum. You can e-mail me directly at wiskas42@aol.com Thanks, Barzini

?? Early B-10 paint doesn't have an orange tint to it. Is is a deep yellow, darker than a Cub Cadet, but not as yellow as a John Deere. Bottom line: We haven't found one in a spray can that exactly matches either the early or late B-series. BTW, if it's too much effort to search out some info (it's been talked about at great length in these forums in the past), or to bother coming back to read the answers (your request for email instead), then you probably won't get a whole lot of help... ;)

Try different variations you will get responses. Search something like a/c yellow or b10 paint or a/c yellow paint or others as you can think of them. just remember all of us sometimes dont use proper English, nobody does anymore so different combinations will get you more results. Also try leaving out the hyphen or slash thus a/c = ac or b-10 = b10 etc

To search the archives, use the Search form on the top menu Discussions >> Search the Forums and then click the box to search Archived Posts. Here's the form: http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/search.asp?sectionid=4 The little Quick Search box at the top only searches topics from the last 30 days or so...

The correct yellow is Allis # 922982 which is Sherwin Williams # Arrylic Enamel JX-9201 I too was looking for the correct paint and tried all kinds of spray cans. Decals are available from Wells Implement and seats from Honeybee lady.

Over a year ago, you answered a question I had about the tool bar for my FDT. In your reply dated Dec 31, 2019  you said the spacer, part #16, goes in the bar to allow for up and down depth adjustment. does this mean the bolt has to be tightened at whatever depth desired or does the bolt slide up and down, allowing the lower hitch to free float?
If it is tightened so the lower hitch and the bar are rigid, then is the depth to be controlled by the shoes? Or by the lift handle?
Is there any kind of user directions for the tool bar? The Outdoor Power Manual basically shows how to assemble the bar but not how to use it
