'64 Landlord runs again after 16 years

:DDe-lurking for a while to let you all know My Grandfather purchased a 1964 landlord after his first heart attack, we ran it to mow lawns, roto-til, and haul things until 1987 or so, the tiller got replaced by a walk behind and so did the mower, well for the first time in 16 years, with some TLC and a cleaned up carb, I drove it around my yard with a big smile on my face. It does need an air filter and Muffler, but other than that runs like it did when we put it away . Next project will be to get the Muffer replaced(currently only had the pipe sticking out). I have to say without this site and forums I wouldn't have been able to do it, this is just such a wealth of info. Thanks Richard '64 Landlord (work in progress)

Good for you! Welcome to the club. I just re-did a 2010, same as my Grandfather had. Brought back a lot of old memories for the whole family. :D You are lucky to have his original iron- wish I had my Grandfathers. Restore it, cherish it, and keep us posted!:D

The rush you get from the first start up is like hitting 5 aces on the Poker machine. You are now probley hooked.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
