stroh Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 When I bought my agco 918H, along with it came an older John Deer lawn cart. It is somewhat rusted, but it is still in pretty good shape. I am thinking of sanding and painting it to match my tractor. I did a search on paints and one post indicated that duplicolor 1607 Chevy Red-Orange is the same and Simplicity orange. Being a new agco owner, I would like to know if Simplicity orange is the same as the orange on my agco 918. Also, do you guys have any tips for sanding and removing rust. Thanks stroh :)
RonT Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 I used a 1975 or 76 Corvette orange on my 912H and it matches well and has held up very well.
HubbardRA Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 Iam painting my AC712S with Chevy Engine Orange and it is a very close match.
Kokomo Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 I have an AGCO ALLIS 918H, 1993-1994, Mfg. #1692144, Serial #01018. Is your tractor the same Mfg #. I am in need of the spec.# on engine as mine is not readable. Bob Hollis Kokomo IN
