With all the plowing questions going on I want to know how you measure a plow..... Some users say they got an 8 inch plow and some say 10 inch plow. What do you measure?

A Plow is measured by the width of the "cut" of soil it will turn over. Most of the Brinley plows can be adjusted from 8 to 12 inches. The width is determined by the angle that the plow is pulled through the ground. Width is not a function of the "lenght" of the mold board or the "bottom" of the plow.
