Help hydro rear in a noma tractor

Recommended Posts

Help I rent and my house landloard's lawn tractor broke down. It is a TSC brand made by Noma outdoor. It has a 12.5 B&S. Got it running last night but now the tractor won't move. It calls it an automatic trans. Put the lever in forward or reverse and the drive belt and pulleys spin but no movement at all. And no you can't push it The rear is made by someone else but I forgot to write it down and don't remember who made it. Anyone fixed one of these before or should I just pull the motor and pitch the rest.

Just had that happen on a CC hydro. on mine it was a bearing. could be something as simple as a sheared key or pin. I'd at least check it out before I chucked it.

BOY do I feel dumb. Got some help to move the tractor up on the cement driveway to work on it. After moving it I found a flat on the left front tire. It was up against a pile of wood under a tarp. When I saw that I rechecked the engagement lever for the rear. It moved about 2 inches this time. And now the tractor moves on it's own. Just need to fix the flat and it will go back to work.

Over a year ago, you answered a question I had about the tool bar for my FDT. In your reply dated Dec 31, 2019  you said the spacer, part #16, goes in the bar to allow for up and down depth adjustment. does this mean the bolt has to be tightened at whatever depth desired or does the bolt slide up and down, allowing the lower hitch to free float?
If it is tightened so the lower hitch and the bar are rigid, then is the depth to be controlled by the shoes? Or by the lift handle?
Is there any kind of user directions for the tool bar? The Outdoor Power Manual basically shows how to assemble the bar but not how to use it
