I've got a hydro pump/hyd. motor part #166097 it's in a T-16,but the simplicity manual I downloaded from the tech dept. shows same part #. Mine is leaking from the front shaft where the control link goes on (the part that shifts forward , reverse) There has to be an o-ring or a seal in there. But I can't find an exploded view of it anywhere, I'd like to have an exploded view before I tear it apart, It's a strong unit so I really don't want to send off to have it rebuild,& I've heard the new ones are around $800-$1,000!!!! Thanks, Plowman

If it is a Vickers, which sounds likely as most leaked around the pintle shaft, forget getting a new one. There was a place in Illinois the rebuilt the pumps on these units for $100 plus shipping. I think it was called Central Hydraulics. Don't remember the city right now. Search for Vickers on this site, including the archives and you'll find pages of info on this topic. Brent
