Are we talking weed eater? Non goat variety? Or this. http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml03/03135.html Conceptual Marketing and Development is recalling 1.1 million metal blades for their model #4650 weed cutting attachment. The blades can break off and hit users, causing a severe impact and laceration injuries. These weed cutting blades were sold nationwide from November, 1999 through December, 2001.

Kris That is what he is talking about. Gerhard wants to build one. If he does it will look just as good as an original.

You're welcome Drigon. If you'd like I can pull the top cover off to show the belt arrangement. And the adjustment setup. Terry

So The objective of this device is to avoid choking a mower deck? It cuts and the mowment of the tractor pushes the cuttings off to one side? Then the weeds are low enough to run the mower over them and cut a little at a time. Is that the idea?

Gerhard, Was looking at your gallery. Your manufacturing ability is totaly awsome!! Perhaps some of the other fellas, and myself, would like to see your stuff drawn up and added in the "build it yourself" section.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
