i hope you guys can help me out. i've got a 1967 Broadmoor that's equipped with the hi-lo thing. i've got NO idea what this is for or even if it works. my gess is...it don't work. when i put the gear in high, and move the hi-lo it does nothing. i'm hoping someone could help me see if it is hooked up. it looks like it's all there,but i could be wrong. i hope someone can help me.:D thanx

You pull the lever all the way to the left and that's your high range, then put the trans in gear- your tractor should move at normal speed. Move the lever all the way to the right, low range, and put the trans in gear- it should move very slow with more power- good for moving snow or pulling a heavy cart. NEVER move the hi-lo while the tractor is moving, the same with shifting the trans.
