Has anyone seen this hitch. I Found it in one of the hitch manuals I downloaded last night.

no but I always wondered why there were 2 holes in the front bumper on my 3414. Bet I know why now and I'll watch for one

I may have seen one. At the time, I thought it was a homemade rig. After reading this post, maybe it was OEM after all.

Maynard, Strange that you should post this today. After my previous post a few days back, I was standing in my back yard looking at my AC716H yesterday evening when I started wondering why not bolt a hitch to the two bolts in the front of the frame? I then opened the hood and came to the conclusion that with this type of hitch, the hood could not be fully opened because the ball would go through the grille. Was I looking at something wrong? My figuring is that if it is bolted to the frame then the hood must open with it on. If it is punned to the axle and comes off quickly, then I wouldn't worry about interference. Comments?

My AC 712 came with a homemade hitch, like Rod describes. No problems with opening the hood.
