thedaddycat Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 ....and if you say the magic word, I'll post these pics.... LOL Welcome to the club and Happy Tractoring!!
MPH Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Not for positive the B-1 is the same as the 725 tin wise but just happen to have that part of the 725 all exposed. about 3/16 x 1 1/4 in strap iron, offset the thickness of the iron, 4 inches center to center on the holes. Hope this helps you.. OH! found the home for the two rubber stops I posted in the pic the other day, had a flashback..MPH
MDB Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Here is a set that I had made up at a local machine shop, I had them put the correct bend in it and drill the holes then I welded the bolt in the smaller of the two holes, that is where it pivots off of the grill frame. The B1s also have a hood brace that goes between the two hinges the one on mine was missing so I was able to get some measurments off of another B1 and make a hood brace for mine. Here is the finished product, I hope this helps you out.:)
Kent Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Wow, I just hope no one ever asks some "Dr Ruth" type of questions -- I'd be afraid of all the pictures and advice we'd get... :D Great job of helping out, guys!
