pacodiablo Posted July 26, 2003 Posted July 26, 2003 I overlooked something obvious with my poor-running McCulloch! Carb tuning! I did a little work and got it to start on the first pull and run for a little while. It continues to stall though, so I will keep at it and try again tomorrow. I think that I will also buy a new fuel filter and new gas for it.
papamerkle Posted July 26, 2003 Posted July 26, 2003 I grew up using McCulloch chain saws. They USED to be good saw-until they start making them in Mexico.:( Carbs are junk.:(! If your McCulloch was made in Mexico, I won't waste my time trying to get carb set. The Best thing you can do is buy a Stihl. Thanks to nafta and big business another fine product has went down the toilet.
