620Doc Posted July 28, 2003 Posted July 28, 2003 Several months ago, there was an image on this forum of Larry Karg's 720/220 convertion. Did anyone get up to the Orange Spectacular to see it?
BruceF Posted July 28, 2003 Posted July 28, 2003 I did make it to the show in Hutchinson, MN on Saturday for a bit. Took lots of pictures at the show. Here are the ones of Larry's tractor. Pictures do not do it justice. You have to see it! Will post a link to the rest of the pictures when I get them posted to the web.
mitten Posted July 28, 2003 Posted July 28, 2003 My son and I where there on Sunday. Great looking tractor.
hackworth Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 I agree, these tractors are awesome. I have a question about the exhaust coming out of the hood of the small tractor. Can the hood still be raised? How does the engine exhaust pipe get connected to the chrome pipe? Is there a muffler under the hood? I am restoring an A-C 720 and am trying to figure out a good exhaust system. Reading past posts on the subject, it's clear that I need to move the muffler outside of the hood to prevent excessive heat build-up. I got the idea of using Harley pipes from other posts too. Currently, I am trying to figue out how to tastefully mount Harley pipes on my A-C 720. Thanks. -Ken
