I found a 5hp mow bee at a salvge yard today for free. Does anyone have any information on this little machine?

I recall someone else asking about those awhile back...I think there was a photo posted of it as well.You might try doing a search maybe you can get the info on it...

Here is a picture of the mow bee 5.

I tried to get the # off the engine,its a 1967.

Well you guys ever seen one? I don't know if I'll fix it or not,its in real sad shape.

What happened to the engine?!?! Looks like someone took a baseball bat to it. You could probably get an engine from a Snapper, do some body work and painting and have a nice, unique machine.

I've got one in real nice original shape. Hasn't been run in probably ten years, though. I really should drag it out of the barn and get it running again. I'd say they're fairly rare. DaveM

This one was at the bottom of the pile at the salvage yard,all I could see was the front of it.There was a massey 8hp on top of it,then on top of the massey was a frame work made out of 5" steel tubing.Had quite of a time getting her out.
