AC720 snowblower pto

Hi, i have an AC720 with a snowblower and i tried it out for the first time last night after our first mentionable snowfall. Unfortunately the last owner had it sitting in the mud for years and the pto shaft was very rusty where it couples to the tractor. The slide collar that locks the pto onto the tractor snapped and the pto came off the spindle. I don't think these are available anymore. Does anyone have just the slide collar for sale? or do any other tractors out there use the same style of pto? I am not sure how to hold the pto onto the tractor without that collar. The universal joint in the pto shaft isn't in the best condition either can these be replaced without having to buy another shaft? Any info would be appreciated. thanks Tomk

I believe the 52" snowblower for a Simplicity 9020 is the same as for your A.C. 720. According to my manual for 9000 series attachments, the part you are asking about, is?/was? sold as a "yoke assy" part no. 178530 As for the universal joint, they call it a "Kit,Repair", and its part no. is 178518, but I'm not sure if it comes with universals for both ends of the shaft or just one end. Hope this helps. PeppyDan
