HubbardRA Posted August 1, 2003 Posted August 1, 2003 I am planning to fabricate a cable actuated rear lift for my AC712S and another for my AC716H. I have the lift from my 61 Wards. Problem is that the Wards unit does not have the lower flange and the hole for a lift rod that connects directly to the sleeve hitch design that Dutch has posted. Could someone give me the distance from the lower lift hole to the pivot shaft on a later model rear lift? I want to lift directly from the sleeve hitch as the newer types do. The older unit had a chain that lifted directly from the plow, that was lifted with a bar that was inserted into the tube on the lift. I want to fabricate the newer style to match the vintage of the tractor.
Ryan Posted August 1, 2003 Posted August 1, 2003 It is a 1/2in hole, 3 9/16in, to centerline of the 1/2in hole, from the centerline of the pivit shaft, 3/4" out, to centerline of hole, from th O.D. of the sleeve. I hope this helps. Ryan
HubbardRA Posted August 3, 2003 Author Posted August 3, 2003 Ryan, Thanks for the info. Theis is exactly what I was looking for.
