Nick Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 I don't have enough time or money right now to finish the B-110. I have decided to bolt it back together, put the engine in, and use her as is to the funds permit. It need to be taken apart anyway, for a good cleaning, and the steering was stuck. I have loosened up the steering, so that is all set. I now need to send the flywheel to Briggs to be repolarized. I totally forgot about it. I guess I'll be hearing for a while, "that thing still runs!" ^ Now lets see if I remember where all the parts go...
Tom_Byrne Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 MY TWO CENTS: Do yourself a favor if you can, Nick. If you can swing it, try to paint all the "hard to reach" metal you can while it's apart. It will save you LOTS OF TIME when you get the funds to do the total re-paint. One can of primer and a can of Allis-Chalmers Yellow Implement paint from Ace Hardware should do it and cost around $10.00. NOTE: I spent a total of around $30.00 to paint my 2010 with this paint in orange.
MDB Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 Nick, I agree with Tom, you can save alot of time and effort by painting the hard to reach places while you have it apart...
Nick Posted August 2, 2003 Author Posted August 2, 2003 Thanks for you suggestions, I will probably do that.
