Guest Posted August 3, 2003 Posted August 3, 2003 Why not....other than the kidney killer ride...think of the weight/traction you could have....I wonder if a person could make them from a regular set of rims.....any thoughts/comments... Im talking in back of course. Ive never seen a garden tractor with them...have you? Doug
PatRarick Posted August 3, 2003 Posted August 3, 2003 Haven't seen them, other than on old walk behind tractors. I have considered making a set just for blowing snow, but my fears of too much traction, causing broken axles or axle tubes has kept me from doing so. Pat
papamerkle Posted August 3, 2003 Posted August 3, 2003 Check out this site: www.ihcubcadet.com/forum/messages/104/4989.htm?1049914681 Need help!!! I can't get picture to show up. There are 2 pictures on this forum showing steel wheel Cub Cadet. This IH Cub Cadet was Plowing on steel wheels last fall. It had problems keeping rear wheels clean enough to get any traction.
