Brent_Baumer Posted August 8, 2003 Posted August 8, 2003 No. I ordered on around July 4th. Jacks said it was on back order. I have been calling weekly since. Last week they said it would ship on 8/3. I thought it was odd with 8/3 being a Sunday. Called them Wednesday this week and they said that had not received their shipment yet but should this week and would send me a notice via email when my order was shipped. They have not responded to my emailed order inquiries, only the phone calls. I will keep you posted when I get the thing installed and take the sound measurements. Brent

Sounds like you are getting the one two buckle my shoe three four out the door run around. Jacks sales people are good at it. When they told you the third you should have called their bluff. It wouldn't be the first lie they were cought in. Don't expect to see an email they don't know what they are. To busy covering their back side.

I found no other suppliers for SuperTrapp's and B. A few souls on here had good luck using them. I'm gonna have to check with the wife to see if they have billed my credit card already. She handles all our finances so I'm not sure if we have paid for these goods already or not. If not, I'm gonna look harder for another supplier and cancel Jacks. Brent

jlasater Posted August 8, 2003 Posted August 8, 2003 Not sure which muffler you were looking at, but the smaller single bolt style SuperTrapp would work fine. They can be purchased from a lot of places, including motorcycle shops. You'd want to buy the generic version and adapt it.

I called super trap just to check and they said they were being manufactured and would ship to all there distrubutors as soon as possible. Does not seem to me it is jacks fault more of a manufacturer delay. John
Kent Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 Just for a different perspective, I've never had a problem with an order from Jacks. I've ordered several things over the past five years or so. I ordered a set of Gator Blades from Jacks on Tuesday night. Wednesday I received an email saying they'd shipped. Haven't received them yet, but I selected the slowest (cheapest) delivery method... Having said this, I'll let you know if I don't receive them by mid-week or so....
