1. Hydro works great with motor running, but doesn't hold with the engine off. On a slight incline in neutral, I turn the engine off and after a delay the mower will move with a pulsing motion eventually it will stop pulsing and run out. 2. Hydro Lift will stick down and not spring back to neutral. This is the deck raise position and therefore lever can be knocked down by brush raising the deck until I realize it later. Your thoughts on repair Thanks

Hi, Hydro behavior is not unusual. Without the charge pump running they often leak down in this application. Try lubing the little roller chain connecting link that connects the lever to the valve. Often this fixes the problem Good luck, Al Eden
