Kent Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 Great job! Thats a nice pair, for sure... What are the small levers on the left side of the dash? Throttle control?
RenegadeJ Posted August 17, 2003 Author Posted August 17, 2003 I used the throttle controls from the 7117 series Simplicity. Much better that the old pull and twist cable. Also used the 23 X 10.50 tires on rear and the larger 16 X 6.50 tires on front. Few things are not original but it works for me.
MDB Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 Super nice job on that pair, I see that you replaced the original throttle control with one from a 700-900 series, that is a nice improvement over the factory push-pull cable8D^
Dadsy98 Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 Those are two nice looking tractors there! I hope my B10 comes out looking that good.
Kent Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 That's what I thought... I get frustrated with the "twist lock" kind because they keep vibrating loose... May have to try that myself.
goatfarmer Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 Nice tractors! What's with the Maytag washer by the garage?
Chris727 Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 If you get bored come on by and restore my B110 for me. Just kidding. Nice job. -Chirs
Roy Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 Beautiful tractors. A-C yellow looks much better than Simplicity orange. 8o)
Guest Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 Any garage would look better with those two beauties in them.
Tom_Byrne Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 GREAT JOB! The square lites give them a neat look....
MPH Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 Like your throttle controls. The ole twist lock on my B112 is fine til one of kids come home and use it, never remember to unlock before the push in, then I gotten tighen it again to get it to hold. It is a bit ocward of a system I be the first to addmit but get habbit forming when you run it enough..Sure is a fine looking pair you spared from rust there...MPH
AGCO918 Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 Great JOB, A++++++ Love to see tractors like this that look better or as good as when they came out of factory. Now all you need is a lawncart.
mitten Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 Very interested in the throttle cable modification. Any chance of posting a picture? Not familiar with that type throttle. Have a B112 that needs a new setup.
