Were any of the larger Simplicity models produced with vertical shaft engines. ie 6200 series or Landlord or Sovereign? I currently have a new kohler vertical shaft 16hp I am trying to find a use for. I want something I can use a tiller, 10" plow and grader blade with.

The Soverign,Sunstar and Legacy{?} are the ONLY Sim.garden tracs.IMHO of course! They might want to call some of the others garden tractors but they're not! That 16 HP Kohler is good to go into a 6000,5000 or even a 4000 series frame, providing the space allows! dlc

Vertical shaft? I don't think so. Only the new Landlord uses a vertical shaft. The Sovereign, Sunstar, and Legacy have horizontal shafts.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
