fomoco390 Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 I have an electrical problem with my 616, Onan CCKA. It charges over 10 amps all the time, as shown on the gage. I think it has burned up my battery. Here's the next problem: I believe the rectifier/regulator is located in the engine shroud, and it has 3 wires connected. All the wires are red (they've been replaced at some point), so I can't tell what is what. Is there a way to check these with a meter, to see which wire goes where? Is this likely my problem? I'm going to download a wiring diagram, but without color codes, I'm blind, I think. Any help is appreciated. James
