Cesar Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 What is the right belt to run from the PTO to a 42" 3 bladed mower deck on my AC Big Ten. Also which belt will power the AC single drive belt snowthrower that came with it?

Maynard has posted the information you are looking for before. The other way would be to find a operators maunal/parts list for your tractor. Do a search on obtaining manuals. The link to the Simplicity archives is listed under Simplertractors Part and Manuals dropdown box. There is a lot of informaiton available here once you learn how to use the search function. torinwalker Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 I just picked up a belt for the rear PTO to drive my tiller. They're now being made from Kevlar - Kevlar is a very strong thread that both increases wear, and decreases stretch under heavy load. The one I bought was a 42" B size for fifteen bucks (Canadian, tax incl.) Make sure your belts are oil-resistant, too. I guarantee you'll get oil on it sooner or later. Best not to have the belt errode, break, and whip your leg as a reminder. Torin...
