dav Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 does a broadmore have the same front axle or wheels as a b10?
BLT Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 An older Broadmoor has a rigid axle and pivit point in the frame. B-10 has pivoting axle but rigid frame.
dav Posted August 24, 2003 Author Posted August 24, 2003 Thanks. It became a moot point though. There's been a broadmore down the street that they pushed out of the way with a dozer. Needless to say, it's . I asked about it and it was free for the taking. It was SOOO that I figured noone was going to touch it and left it there, unspoken for. Just got a b 10 for rokon last week for parts and think I might try fixing it up. So I wanted to see if the broadmore front end would fit. Thursday eve it was there and Friday it was gone! Hoped it went to the dump-where I'd have a shot a scavenging but it's not there. Ya snooze, ya loose!!!
rokon2813 Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 just curious whats wrong with the original axle??
dav Posted September 15, 2003 Author Posted September 15, 2003 Hi Dan, Yeh, it's that tractor. Decided that it might push the plow around if I do a little work on it. That little tyre is on too tight for me to get off w/ what's at hand and one bearing on the other side is rusted to the axle. Easier to just rework another axle-and if it comes w/ any kind of tyre holding air, I'll be able to get rid of that scary one w/ the tube sticking out- which BTW is STILL holding air!!! And, I'll have an opportunity to try out the flat bearing "power steering" trick! Still looking for the snowblower mount for the B series. Dav
