*** September 10, 2003 *** Is the last day to order <<< >>> Just a reminder ********************************************************
I’m down to my last few Serrated Grader Blades that I’ve been selling on eBay, off eBay, and locally. Plus, I have another bulk order from a dealer. So, I’m ready to place an order with the factory next week. If any of you guys want in on the $99 deal, send me an email. If you don’t know what I’m talking about…….. do a SEARCH (archives too) on “serrated”.

I can get any width I specify PROVIDED I order at least 25 at a time.

OH Well... I don't need 25, I was thinking about one for my 616. About 60".

John, I know how you feel. It seems like during my entire life, every time I buy something I need or want, I learn I could have bought it for less just before or right after I make the purchase. Look at it this way……. You will be enjoying your blade in a few days instead of waiting a month or longer.

Mark, do you think there is room under the powrmax tractors to get a 30 degree angle on a grader Blade? Discussed that with my bro on the phone once cuz he couldn't see how we got it on the older ones, I came to the conclussion tire size for wheel base made the difference..MPH

No problem Dutch. I just located a Simplicity for a song so the day will balance. Heck, I might need to get another blade in the near future.

Martin, I don't know for sure. After seeing Dutch's post it just got me to thinking. I will have to do a little investigating on that.?

This is directed to Dutch, but FYI to everyone else. I see growing interest in a wide version of the world famous "Dutch Blade". And now I'm thinking about one for the 720. I understand the minimum order issue, and I am interested in fronting up the $ to get an order placed if everone can agree on the size. So chat amongst yourselves, and let's get this figured so we can all be grading before the ground freezes.

Roger, I posted a new topic regarding wider blades. Have you ever used your 42” blade? I have sold many of the “$99 deal” blades to guys on this forum, but have received very little feedback, and don’t recall ever seeing a photo of a blade mounted on a Simplicity or Allis. I get plenty of feedback and photos from other buyers. Here’s an example:

Thank you Herb. The blade came in today, in great shape, although even UPS can't dent that blade. Left you feedback, wish I had more room to expand comments. I will send you photos, hate to say I am putting it under a Murray, but it was the right price. Most of my usage will be for loose gravel, and I think it is going to work fine. I just need to keep the gravel in the wheel tracks, and that is all the Murray is going to be used for. I bought it very used, new motor, but the deck was shot. Perfect for a blade mount. I really liked the plans, thanks for Emailing them to me. Gave me something to think about till the blade got here. I will send you a photo if my plan works or if I use yours. Wish I had not sold my welder now. Thanks again. Jim Ray

Dutch, I'm using the 42" blade on my model V walker, I used the brinley box scraper mounts. I think it works great. I cut the bottom 3" off the brinley plate that has the pivot shank, and then cut small notches at each edge. This lets me mount the blade with your bolts and some large flat washers. To flip the blade I only have to loosen the bolts and then it drops right off. I'll get some photos up in a day or two.
