dogboy Posted August 30, 2003 Posted August 30, 2003 I finished my broadmoor a few weeks ago, mechanically anyway, but finances and availablity put the brakes on the mower deck part, found a "MTD" belt at wal-mart and figured "why not",since i don't really have a lawn, the front yard is all garden, back yard "belongs" to the dogs, i mowed a neighbors yard-- hadn't been done since spring, due to illness, made a new friend, this thing mows better than anything i've ever used!!!very long ,wet grass and weeds- gone ! place looks great, not at all happy with the turf tires, gonna go with "ag's, a.s.a.p.

andy gartner Posted September 1, 2003 Posted September 1, 2003 Michael, The total metal early Broadmoors are wonderful tractors, vertical shafts and all. One of my favorites. I've had mine for 20 years w/original engine. The 3 spindle 36" deck w/full rollers is a delight to use and the lightweight tractor is easy to roll around and position as I often do for storage, maintenance, and cleaning. Good luck and happy cutting. Respect for the Broadmoor's engineering, grows with every use. a
