i ordered the needle bearings and thrust washers to do the front spindle modification today and i was wondering as to how they hold up long term? Also has anyone figured out a boot for these?

i did one side today the one with the e clip had to grind the tube alittle so clip would slide on its a very easy inexpensive modification and works so smooth i was thinking of a piece of split rubber tube and a band clamp for a boot or maybe a cut down cv boot does anyone know if trailer greese would work better in this case?

I made boots for the bottom using a by-pass hose made for a 318 mopar.I cut the hose to length slid it on and put a hose clamp around it.

the tractor was never very hard to steer but when i took the spindles off the thrust washers were worn pretty bad i figured the low cost of parts justified the upgrade i hope
