Les
You have hit on a real problem. I have been unable to locate sections or guards. Here is what I know: The mowers were made by Haban Corp. of Racine WI which is now out of business. The sections are 1.5" compared to normal 2" width. The rivets are also smaller. Supposedly the "Jari" brand mower uses the same sections but different guards, but I have been unable to locate a stocking dealer. One person stated that Ford used the same guards on some of the old "Dearborn" mowers made back in the 1940's and 1950's, but I have been unable to get a dealer to confirm that. Also, there are "Troy-built" mowers around which may use some of the same parts, but the only stocking dealer I know of said he knows nothing about parts for the sickle bars. Let me know if you have any other information.

paull
Steve, FYI, I have converted my Simplicity sickle bar to use standard available sickle knives and rock guards. The conversion consists of fabricating new parts. Give me a few days to gather some information.
