Guest Alm Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 as per my "hello" post,brought the ac home tonight,it is a 212,not a 112.It starts and runs well,but something funny seems to be going on with the front axel that causes the mower to throw the belt on sharp corners.Hope to get a better look tomorrow Al
Kent Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Does it have the "weird" double-V belt? Those things are so stiff that they will throw easily... First thing I'd check is the front axle pivot bolt to make sure it's tight...
PatRarick Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 I would also check the "pin" on the rear of the front axle yoke. Also check to see that the pin mounting bracket is solidly bolted to the frame. Have had both problems on mine. Pat
