Kent
Saw this ad and thought someone might be interested: Allis Chalmers, only 212 hours, Model 620, hydrostatic trans, 5' hydro snow plow & chains, asking $2950. Floydster
Kent, now where do you think this 620 with only 212 hrs. on the meter has been for the last 28 years, and I wonder who would have a machine like this and only use it for 7.5 hrs. a year. If this is true,I do believe you should snap this baby up!!!! They are an awesome tractor indeed. My 620 always impresses me, that machine can really push the snow! Kent, you would really look good on it! Floydster
Kent
for a 3rd tractor and a bed for me -- that's where I'd likely end up. This site alone almost has me on the couch... 8o) Seriously, I'd like to have a machine this size (complete with loader), but I can't rationalize it for my needs. I have less than 1/2 acre to mow, a garden to till, and a big driveway to plow. A 7016 (AC 716) with a hydro would be as large as I could readily use. And the hours on the 620 do sound very low. But, even 212 hours on a rebuild makes the price sound good.... Thought I'd bring it to the attention of those who could put it to use.
dlcentral
It is a pretty good price and an awsome machine to own for sure![although I've never had one] BUT I for one would be wary of those hrs. And from what I read here the engine's obsolete and they are prone to electrical problems.Plus for that kind of money I would want the 60" deck too! dlc
