Cub Cadet 7254 Compact Tractor ?????

Hello Everyone, Thinking about a new replacment for the 720 and stumbled across this. This Cub has 25hp v-twin Kaw Liquid cooled gas, 4wd, 2 speed hydro trans, cat 1 PTO, and a quick detach loader, all new with warranty for an opening bid of $10,900 on ebay. It's got 12x16.5 industrial or 31x15 turf rear tires and 12" front rims and a 58" wheelbase. Looks to be about the size of a Pmax. They've also got a 26HP Dihatsu diesel, and 30HP turbo diesel. I spoke to the dealer and discovered that with the exception of the engine (Japan) and trans housing (china) all the Engineering, machining, and assembly are genuine USA, Any body ever cross paths with one of these Cubs ??

For that kinda money, I'd be looking at a 935 JD. With the history of MTD through the years I could never invest that in a cub. But thats just me and my opinion... Salt

The local cub dealer has them and they seem to be just about like most compacts. I think cub cadet's website has some information on them but I don't remember the web address, you might try doing a search. Personally I would have to look at the tractor in person before I's spend that much on ebay. Hope this hepls. -Chris

Hey Salt, A search on John Deere 935 gets me a front mower machine? Was that what you ment? Chris, I've checked the website and talked with the dealer (I updated above). The machine comes with a 1 year total + 1 year or 1500 hour power train warranty. From what I've seen this is the only machine this size with a gas motor, have I missed one?

Yes, it is.. I had mowing machines on the brain. Also, its only offered as far as I know in a diesel. Still a great machine. sorry. Salt
