Bearings for p.t.o.

Recommended Posts

I just bought a complete used center pto for my big ten and the torrington bearings are bad. Being as I don't know what year or model it came off of I need some help. The bearings are 1 1/8 O.D. and 3/4 I.D., one is one inch wide the other is 1/2 inch wide, any ideas on where to pick them up?

If you have the dimensions, anywhere that sells bearings should be able to match you up. I believe that both sides should have the longer bearing. Every PTO I've taken apart has. Check to see if the bored area in the PTO will support the long bearing on each side. Pat

Towards the bottom of page 1 there is a discussion of these bearings, the Torrington 1210 in either half or full compliment. That same bearing is used in about six or seven places I think...... http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=10303&SearchTerms=frame,up,restoration,2012
