thedaddycat Posted October 19, 2003 Posted October 19, 2003 Here is one of the 3415 H tractors I got on eBay, I went to pick them up today.... The engine was converted to external coil ignition. Other goodies I got included a hood, grill, support, fenders, remains of the original seat, and emblems from a 700, 648 hood, and deck shields for something not S or A-C. Also a spare carb body, front ag tires and wheels, 36" deck, body from 3-belt blower, Broadmoor blower, a good 42" plow and a 42" plow w/ broken bracket. Unfortunately I blew a tire on the trailer and had to leave it in a rest area at the other end of the state. I'll go back tomorrow morning with a new tire and bring back the trailer with the other 3415 and frame/rear from a flat hood variable.
Guest Posted October 19, 2003 Posted October 19, 2003 Kirk, You are going to need a country home with alot of storage space...........nice find. Doug
dlcentral Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 In about another year you will have the MONOPLY on sim//AC stuff we'll all have to come to you for anything/and everything,u will be the Bill Gates of s/ac!,lol,,hee,hee Did you get the stuff up by Torrington, from the old guy whose going out of business!?!Good job,,
thedaddycat Posted October 20, 2003 Author Posted October 20, 2003 It was cheaper to get a whole new tire and wheel for the trailer at WalMart than to get just a tire from the tire store. Anyhow I made it back with these two... This is the other 3415 H, a bit rougher than the first one. It has the headlights, guess I'll have to check a few bulbs here some time soon.... Did these come with the dip stick??? It's a Model 325431 Briggs. Vickers tranny, of course... The remains of a 3210 V. I was told the tranny and BGB were good... It has that "Double V belt" pulley on the PTO. Variable parts look to be OK at first glance.
Chris727 Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Kirk, nice haul! How are you going to steer the second 3415;) How many do you have altogether now? I am going to pick up a 710 six speed this week and its number 14.
MikeES Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 Kirk, that dipstick on the 3415H does not look original. All of the Sims and AC that I have seen have the short dipstick coming out of the right side of the block. This looks like a later generic engine with the long dipstick. But you never know. Great Haul.
rjgoth Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 Dude, Sanford and Son would be jealous of your yard. I would love to come out east and see what you all have. You have a sweet collection of cool stuff. I must say that is the largest collection of AC and Simplicity tractors and impliments. That last haul was the Cats Meow!
