My wife is insisting that I unload some things. So I put the Dynamark out front. 18 HP with 44 inch deck and Bagger. She still runs sweet, no smoke and I replaced the bags last year and she was stored indoors. I've been asking 275, yesterday two people offered 200. I insisted I needed more, I believe 250 is my bottom line. She just won't take the pounding, of mowing 5 acres. Am I crazy?

Ambler, While I cannot give you an opinion on the price of the Dynamark, the problem may be the time of year. I would bet if you were selling this tractor in the spring you would have much better luck. Rick..........

Yes, The timing is lousy but my wife will be appeased.

Geesh should ask 300 and drop to 275 or 250. The timing is wrong but maybe somebody needs a good :Dtractor with a bagger this fall? Good luck & don't let the wife spend your $$$ if you sell it;)

Here in Western Pennsylvania, your timing couldn't be better. Our deciduous leaves are just freshly fallen. A perfect time to get a lawn mower with bagger. Have you tried selling on Ebay? tacey

Is this a 4 speed "H" patern shift with 1st and 2nd side by side on the same wing of the "H" ? If by chance it is, that is a strong machine. I have 2 18 murrays with that transaxle. The other day I hooked one to my 7.5 x 12 ft ( I think ) Hardee all steel trailer. And moved it around the yard.. THere was a Simplicity on the trailer at the time. While these machines will never mow like a Simplicity they can and will pull a plough etc just fine... I'd keep it if its one of these. Sell something else...

I've had my share of Dynamarks. I have one now, and had another one for a while, and I've worked on another one. Overall they're ok, but they are not much better than a Craftsman or Murray. They hold up pretty good, and are somewhat strong, but I wouldn't put it up to heavy hauling like big trailers and all. The ones I've had and tinkered around on all have had the inline shifters usually 5 or 6 speed. They are really fun for popping wheelies and I would build a racer out of one if I had the time and money.

Its an inline 5 speed and it does pop wheelies from gear 3 to 5. I believe I'll unload this one and keep my four Simplicities and Craftsman III with hi-lo and 20 hp Onan, electric lift, sleeve hitch and tiller. In simplicity, I have Dozer, leaf vac, snowblower, garden plow etc. Dynamark provided good service for 10 years, but it is excess with my new toys. Cash is to be used to rebuild two sixteen hp briggs.

Good idea, in line 5's are weak IMO anyways.. The "H" 4s were cast iron axle tubes etc.( Thinking 600 series Peerlis ? ). Another ball game altogether.

I really have to laugh about machinery in general. You couldn't get ANY main part for that tractor for $250.00 but the sum is also worth nothing.I collect antique cars and now and then I need something.I have to tell the guy"What do you want for that part?I didn't pay that for for the whole car!"Take the motor out of that Dynmark and sell it on ebay! Then sell the trans, then the deck etc, etc, etc.

Exactly, I have a craftmean rider on ebay right now. Been on almost a week with no bids but I have a buyer for the engine at the starting bid and one for the deck at half the starting bid. Parts always seem to be worth more than the whole....

Shipped it off Saturday at my price $280. I just ignored the low bidders. Gave him 2 additional sets of blades, 3-4 belts, and Deck Suspension parts. It was my first tractor, Dad used to make me push mow our 1 1/2 acre wooded lot.
