My chrome grill trim is in pretty rough shape. Was wondering if anyone still carries the originals, or.. if anyone is reproducing these. If I can't find a source, I was thinking about having one of the sheet metal shops around here fab up a set, maybe in stainless. Has anyone else ever looked into this? Dave

I have the same problem with mine. In fact my grill (sheet metal with small holes in it) is pretty beat up. I am going to fabricate a new piece with new sheet metal with holes in it, as well as new side trim pieces. The trim pieces I am going to use steel rectangle stock similar in size as the original. I will then get these chrome plated. Stainless steel is a good idea tho, I will look into that too. If mine turns out well, Id be happy to make some up for other people too, as I will have plenty of leftover stock left. Ryan

Ryan, I have to fab up a grill also. This tractor was missing it's grill when I got it. I have some good material that was scrapped @ work , that I'm going to use. I would like to find a drawing with the dimensions for it though, or maybe a pattern. Dave

David, I could get you the measurements off of my grill if that would help you out. Ryan

a squire 10 grill is on ebay its close to a b10 in looks. if you are going to fab one save the work and bid on a grill that will fit.

True, but I want to get a grill that has straight metal on it, I have not seen to many of these grills that are not beat up. So for my restoration I am going to fabricate one.

Ryan.. Thanks for offering to send me dimensions for the grill. That would be quite helpful. Just don't make it a priority, whenever you get a chance. Jon, I haven't looked at the grill you mentioned on E-bay, I will take a look at it, but as Ryan stated , most of them are not in very good shape, and after you figure in postage on top of the high bid price, and clean it up and repaint, it may become very costly. If I didn't already have some nice perforated sheet metal stock at my disposal, I would have to go the E-bay route. I may have to do that anyway for the chrome grill trim pieces if I can't find a machine shop that will make them up at a reasonable cost. Dave

David, I am planning on fabricating the entire grill pieces myself. Where I work they have a full shop with cnc mills, and a complete fab shop that I can do "government" work out of. Like I said I will have to bye my materials in bulk, so I will have lots left over from my grill. So if youd like I can make one for you too. You can see how mine turns out, and if you like my work I could easily make one for you too, and it would probally be much cheaper than getting one off of ebay. Let me know if this would interest you. But I dont plan on making mine till this winter sometime. Ryan

Ok, Ryan. Yes , I would be interested. Keep me posted. That might be the way to go. I can wait awhile as I intend to rebuild my tranny this winter, and it will be awhile before I would be ready for it anyway. Thanks, Dave

I would be interested in stainless side pieces for the B10. My B10 grill is straight and nice. My B110 grill is all one piece and will need rechomed unless you make one of those out of stainless too.

A b110 grill in stainless would be nice. I wonder if you can get perforated sheet stock in stainless. That would look really cool, but I bet it would be pretty costly. Dave

I will cost out perforated stainless vs mild steel. But yes while I am doing my grill pieces I can cut some others for other people too. I proball will have enough material for 5-6 grills. I will keep you posted as to when I will be fabricating these pieces. I dont have a B110 grill to work from but if I could get some angle and length measurements that would help. Ryan
