JimC_Vt Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 Hi Guys, Does anyone have any pics of the muffler exhaust shield/carb warmer on a 1966 Sim.Landlord 2010 (B&S 10 hp).....I need to make one for the winter because blowing snow tends to ice up the governor and throttle shaft in bad storms .... Kent Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 Jim, There was an earlier version than the last one Maynard posted that could be easily made out of a large coffee can or piece of flat tin. It was basically like that last one, except it had no sides -- only the flap that bridged over to to the top of the breather. This kept the heat from rising up, and directed against the carb. It simply clamped on with a large hose clamp. I have one of each style, and both are factory...
