Well I finally figured how to post a foto... Last night I spread lime on the yard and then hosed off the old tractor. I wanted to try out the camera flash, and get a pic of the Simp while still clean...

I feel like a kid with a new toy...lol Tacey

That's one nice and clean machine :D looking good. You ought to give it the water hose after each ride and it will keep looking as good as my father in law's car! :D^:D Tue

Thanks for the compliment, Tue. Many years ago, I read an article about a man who used a Cadillac for his taxicab. The car lasted many years and hundreds of thousands of miles. The man was asked how the body of the vehicle had stayed in such good condition, espcially under severe taxi use. His secret? A daily washing. So simple. Since then, I have tried to keep my cars clean, a difficult chore during our Pennsylvania winters. My cars have avoided the 'tin worm' by and large as a result. Tacey

The last two trucks I've had were Pewter and Gray. Those colors don't show the dirt too bad. Never washed either one a single time, other than hosing deer blood out of the bed. Have had two black cars in my lifetime. Both looked pretty sharp when clean but looked real bad with the slightest amount of dust and a few sprinkles. Won't own a black vehicle again because of it. I'll stick with the ones that are dirt colored to start with. Brent

I play a trick on myself when I have manual labor chores to do. I think of it as 'exercise'. In my younger days, I'd go to the YMCA & play basketball, raquetball, and the like. When my knees blew up, I then used a treadmill or stairmaster to sweat. Now, I wash cars or do household stuff. Instead of ending up with just a pair of dirty sweatclothes, I now have nice clean cars, or a ditch dug, etc, something to show for my effort. Tacey
