Where is this at? Did you buy anything there? Does anyone know of any AC or Simplicy boneyards in Wisconsin? Ryan

I counted parts of at least 20 tractors, no less than a dozen decks, 2 blowers, 1 tiller and the cultivators. This is the pile I've been trying to buy for 6 months. It still isn't bought yet but today they finally let me make an offer. The only thing I didn't see were any hi-lows, but there is a shop full of used and new parts also. This is in western New York.

Since the 300 and 400 series Allis were a model unto themselves does anyone know if other attachments will fit and are they desirable because they are different?

I'd be like a kid in a candy store!

Mike: You read my mind! I thought "Oh, Kirk must have company." Rokon: you sure the camera wasn't foggy due to some tears being shed? Also, I appreciate seeing the scope of the motherlode, and wish you every success in getting it, but the "blurrycam" was every bit as frustrating as when they digitally mask certain parts in late night infomercials hawking tapes of college students "gone wild." I want to see those badboys, 'er, tractors--lol!

I have to go back there tomorrow on another mission. I'll see if I can get a few better pics. Maxtorman; your pretty close considering how lousy the pics are. The one with the blower is a 916 hydro complete except for the front manual clutch is missing. The 2 side by side are a matched pair of 416 hydros. The first pic shows a wonderboy/700/725 (I cant tell the difference) An a/c 611 an a/c 608 a simp 5116 and a 6011 The two b series side by side: thw flat hood is a 110 and the round I dont know there were no numbers I could see so b10/big10/b12 under the bush that you can barely see is a b series minus tranny and a 300/400 series that I couldnt see. in the parts pile was a b210 in pieces. and several other b's in pieces. BigSix; I know how you felt trying to describe what was there from memory because I cant read the numbers in the pics either

The quick skinny on the WB/700/725, these are the "At a Glance" things to look for... The Wonder Boy and 700 will usually have a straight shifter, two piece seat, no remote choke, short steering shaft, no pulley guard over right BGB pulley & rope cup, no holes in fender for guard either. Engine will be a Briggs Model 19 Type 706035, if original. An early 725 is likely to have a two piece seat, straight shifter, short steering shaft, no remote choke, and no pulley guard or fender holes. It will have a Briggs Model 19, Type 706047 engine if it's original. Judging by the literature available, in 1963 they went to the pan seat, pulley guard, tall steering shaft, remote choke, and the Model 19 D engine. I and others have come to the conclusion that Simplicity used the same stock photos for several years and even different models. It sure looks to me like some of the 700 and 725 pics are the exact same ones.... LOL I don't recall what B had the white seat with black edges, the B-12? The near B has wide front tires but that means nothing, either since they're so easy to swap around... I'm not familiar enough with AC decals to say which ones had those kinds of stripes on the hoods... The one in the weeds has the seat support bracket of an older tractor, and it looks like a rope cup starter, too. I can't ID the dash, maybe someone else can...

Thanks Kirk. I'll get a better look tomorrow and now I know what to look for.

Brent: A veiled, nonspecific reference to something already seen on everyone's TV, get censored, here? Oh, yeah...you're probably right--depends who's doin' the writin', or the "rightin'", I should say.... Why do they do it anonymously, I wonder? Peter

MarkM1958 - If you are into broadmoors there is a guy in Losantville that has several in the same shape as pictured above. Last I looked he also had an AC300/400 series (I think a 400), a B-112 and a B-208. Haven't been there in awhile though. Also a guy in Messick with a few Sims but mostly other brands. Brent

Does he just not want to sell them? Sure is sad to see them all sitting there when they could be restored or used...

The man that owns them is very sick. It is an old dealership. The mechanic has been running the place alone for nearly a year while the sons wait for dad to let them decide what to do. They are aparently getting close to a decision. My offer was refused but they came back with a counter offer that I probably will accept. Its a little more than I can afford but I'll never get another chance at a pile like that. Should know Monday or tuesday if that stuff is all mine. In the event I do get them, there will be many parts available soon so that I can recoup some of the cost quickly.

Wow,what a shame. The pics almost brought tears to my eyes hope you get it. :(

Dan let us know what you get, wish I were closer,I'd help you move it;)!

A suggestion for ya Dan on how to get all the tractors, Offer the sons to take EVERYTHING pictured in that pile, even all the mowers. and pretty up the area to their specs, It will be less clean up for them, and you'll get what you want. You could always scrap the plain junk later on.

Dan, Good find. That dealership is actually right around the corner from me. I've purchased some of my tractors from him in the past. I've had my eye on that cultivator and the real nice simplicity blower but was never able to connect with Ken since he fell sick and has since passed away. Oh well I tons of other projects going anyway. It sounds like they'll be going to a good home. Good luck. -Todd P.S.- Let me know if you need a hand picking up all of that stuff.

Todd you the guy right around the corner like 3 houses down 18 with the powermax style tractor?
