Scott Salmons Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 A friend of mine at work has a 5030. He knows that I have several AC's and Simplicity's and asked about a front loader for his tractor. I told him about SimpleTractors and how helpful the people on it are. Does anyone have a suggestion where he could buy a loader for this tractor? Does it have to have an auxillary pump? This tractor is a little out of my league. Thanks Scott
jackcobb Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 You don't need a pump, the tractor hydralics can run it. But there is is a by pass valve that was plumbed in to separate or shut off the flow to the rearthat you pulled. Not sure if the tractor you have has it, as it was an option if I recall. Aftemarket companies like Woods make loaders for them. Woods has a good unit! You can look up Woods on your web site. You might find a compact loader used, if you look around and a machine shop can make or modify the brackets. You can also add a PTO pump, or one off the front of the engine where you drive the belly mower, but you don't need to. If I recall correctly, the 5030 has about a 14 GPM pump and you should be satisfied with it's performance
