Wake Up Call.......

Well, I have not seen anyone post about this so let me tell you what I woke up to this morning.......

No, that is NOT frost on the seat, hood or cars and if you look real close there's even a dusting on the front yard across the street, though very hard to see in the pic.... Those white dots are not dust specks on the lens....... This is a heads up on what's just around the corner. I'm not too far off the coast, so for us to get snow this early is unusual to say the least......

That jsut means its time to awitch over to snowblowers and snowblades. Also, break out those tire chains and get 5W-30 in her.

I guess it's that time! I better get my front blade put back together. I had to take it apart to make some repairs. Of course I could just use m front end loader, but I don't know how well that will work. I may find out.

Yeah I herd it might snow next week here in Iowa.Tonight I moved the tiller tractor and dirt plow tractor to the back of the garage. Then moved my blading tractor and snowblowin tractor right behind the garage door.

Yep i woke up to a little more than that here in the Boston area, Good thing I had some free time after work I got the electric spout rotator finished (after 4 months,) and got the blower mounted and running. Now hopefully i will only have to use it once :) But if it is anything like last winter i will be sure to test that 49$ wiper motor under some heavy use.

We've seen it a few times in the air here but none stuck yet!

I hope its a month away for me. I just got done disking in the corn stalks in the garden, but still have to put the wheel weights on and plow about 1/5 to 1/4 acres. Not to mention I still have to grade the yard!

I saw on the news this morning that you folks up east were getting a dusting. I hope it's not heading for Kentucky anytime soon. I still am mowing but I could put a blade on one of the B's or the 3012 just in case. I picked up the biggest kerosene heater Tractor Supply had while I was in town today for the shop. These 35-40 degree mornings are getting a bit rough on my middle aged bones when I'm working out there!! Hope you guys have fun, but keep that white stuff up there for at least another month or so, PLEASE. Larry

Had to get my last two loads of wood in about an inch this morning, just enough to be wet working in, darn it, almost got off cutting wood snow free..MPH

Got to get my blower mounts made. If I do then Mr Murphy will probably keep the snow gods away. If I don't, then I can see the blower sitting beside my garage with a foot of snow on top.

daddycat we got a little of the white stuff here also

30 degrees here in Western NJ this morning. No snow yet, but.... I just finished creating a vac system for the tractor and all the leaves aren't down yet!

I'm still hard at my annual leaf harvest in southern Indiana.:D I have been trying out the trac-vac I got at auction over the summer. It sucks up everything, kind of hard to get around a lot of trees though.

Snow here in Maine. Only a inch or two, but the past several mornings flakes have been falling. Better get the tractor set up for winter. Now do I mount my new blade or the blower? Rick.........

The almanac for the mid atlantic looks wrose than last year.... Looks like even more plowin time. Im going to have to start pushing the snow 20 ft off the driveway if I want to kep up this year!

We are getting rain in Wisconsin, chilly enough that I wouldn't be surprised to see a few flakes. I am not ready for winter. Neighbor lady asked that i do her walks and driveway. My recently acquired 3314H has had the blower mounted but the front clutch had not been installed yet. Looking for mount for blade, may go look at one today, also chains and weights. But really had planned on making my own set of Quick Weights. I had a newer Broadmoor with a blower on it, but i exchanged with my son for his walk behind( on temporary basis) to make room, had planned on tearing down and "improving" the 3314H with electric lift, power steering thought walk behind would be sufficient for me and it probably will be for both driveways. Last year i think i used blower 3 times, shoveled the rest. so blade probably would come in handy.

I don't know , but I had a dream last night(nightmare maybe) that once winter starts this year spring won't arrive till mid May next year... I hope that ain't the case!
